The Big 1

The Big 1 is a family-owned ice cream stand in Nashua, New Hampshire. It is located at 185 Concord Street. The business has been a part of the community since it was first established.

The ice cream stand offers a variety of ice cream flavors, including some that are gluten-free. The ice cream comes from Richardson's Ice Cream in Middleton, Massachusetts. In addition to ice cream, the stand also offers other treats like sundaes, banana splits, and frappes.

During the summer, Lavoie's Farm sets up a stand in the parking lot of The Big 1, selling locally grown fruits and vegetables. The Big 1 also has a menu that includes hot dogs, nachos, and drinks like soda and lemonade.

The Big 1 has a history that dates back to when the building was once an Army Barracks. Over the years, the business has been owned by different members of the same family, including Marcel Lemay, Pat Lemay, and Jeanne and Gary Marquis. The current owners have continued to run the business with the help of their staff.
